Computer Guy

Ahmed – fictitious name since the person want to remain anonymous – is from Iran and speaks English fluently. He studied abroad and refers to himself as “computer guy”.

We meet him outside the reception center of Ovcha Kupel in the outskirts of Sofia, in a neighbourhood where there’s nothing but a cafe, a park and a University branch.
Ahmed fled Iran in 2015 and now lives in Bulgaria, where he tried to seek for asylum because of his incredible and yet harsh story: a “computer guy” forced to climb the Anatolian mountains in order to save his life.
